Reservoir: It covers 42 acres, and is 2.2-miles in length, sitting at 402.66 feet above sea level with 6 feet of managed storage.

Generation type: Conventional hydropower

Hydropower type: Diversion, the Station No. 3 dam diverts water to its generators through a 600 foot long concrete lined tunnel and 900 foot long forebay canal. The concrete lined tunnel runs under some of the buildings in Shelburne falls.

Output: Station No. 4 has 3 Francis turbine which output 7 megawatts of power using 3 General Electric generators amounting to 24,963.5 MWH annually.
